Farmhouse Lazy Susan

Farmhouse Lazy Susan

What a fun and easy project! I'm redoing my kitchen in a farmhouse theme. I've been wanting to make a Lazy Susan, and this was a good time to tackle it.

  • gel stain
  • round board(Menards)
  • hardware(Amazon)
  • drill
  • small round board
  • Paintbrush
  • rag
  • stencil
  • stencil brush
  • 220 grit sand paper
  • a wax to seal it with

I was going to paint this at first. I decided against it because the wood grain was so pretty. Once the stain dried I grabbed some black chalk paint, my cow stencil, stencil brush and then stenciled the cow onto the large round board.

I admit my hubby attached the hardware for me. I did distress it with some fine sandpaper to give it the feel of being around for a long time. I decided to add some wax to it since it is going in the kitchen, that way it could be wiped down.

Hopefully you enjoyed this project and you will be inspired to make yourself one.
